Oneanddone~ You took the words right out of my mouth. I couldn't have said it better. I think at the age of 71, she did what works for her and her family. It is disappointing as usual seeing those posts popping up with the claws out. Ninety-five percent of what I wear is Judith Ripka including my 18K/Diamond wedding ring. Take care~Peach

I don't think Leslie owned BE. She took a job with a small niche company and turned it into a global empire, but she was not the founder. Also, you have to consider that Leslie made a lot of money when the company went public.

Leslie = right place, right time, but she worked very hard, too.

I think it's safe to say that Judith owned more than 6%.

This happens with any personal name brand. If something happened to Judith, the whole thing would be worthless -- it's all based on her. It only makes sense to sell. Just like RLM.
