John Hardy jewelry

Has anyone ever heard of John Hardy jewelry designs? I went to Nordstrom Rack yesterday and bought a beautiful pair of sterling hoop earrings made by this designer. They were originally $375 at Nordstrom main store. The Rack price was $144. Did I get a decent buy?
