Jewelry display

I have taken notice of the displays for the jewelry. In particular, the bust and wrist displays.

When they show jewelry on that beige/yellow color, I think it makes the jewelry less attractive. It sort of washes out the beauty of color, in particular.

I think I also saw this on ShopNBC displays too. I am no expert, but that's what my eye sees.

I asked my daughter, who is an expert (graphic designer) what she thought of it. She said it was not an attractive way to display either.

If someone like myself notices this, don't their designers notice it???
