What do you use to clean your silver jewelry and your gold jewelry?

Sparkle jewelry cleaner. I buy it from Hsn.

@bargainsgirl Many people here agree that a polishing cloth is the best solution and a cloth called a Sunshine Cloth is the best.

A polishing cloth for silver and just dish soap and water for gold.

From Home Remedies on Google
Put the silver items in a bowl of appropriate size and cover them with white distilled vinegar. Add baking soda into the bowl – the approximate proportions are 4 tablespoons of baking soda for every cup of vinegar. Leave the silver in the mixture for 1 hour. Rinse with clean water and dry well with soft cotton cloth.Jul 14, 2018

Precious spray cleaner from QVC and Amazon. You can also pour some in a bowl and soak (very briefly) if the piece is very intricate. I run into a lot of jewelry auctions so some of the pieces I buy are very badly tarnished, as these are estate pieces. After they are dry I spiff them up with a polishing cloth.

I use a few drops of Dawn (blue) dish detergent and water. Let it soak for a few minutes and rinse and air dry. I have a tiny soft brush I use to get inside the ring galleries if needed. Does a great job.

@Kachina624 This has come up before and those cloths are still the easiest, most effective way to clean all metal jewelry. If a stone's involved that needs cleaning, I agree w/ another poster to use Dawn or another dishwashing detergent. Sometimes I use toothpaste (not the whitening type with any grit) & a small, soft toothbrush. Most purchase liquid cleaners are ammonia and water solutions.
