I think there were diamonds on the piece which made it pricey and probably a very good quality turquoise ....I loved the piece on the Academy Awards and such an understated dress to really showcase the necklace. Let's not even talk about Jay King quality compared to Tiffany.

This necklace has Sleeping Beauty turquoise and Santa Maria aquamarines. Of course JK cannot be mentioned here. What I was trying to say that that SB is very well respected and prized material, when it is good quality of course. Just like Persian was when it was available . When I saw Cate Blanchette at Oscars my breathing stopped !!! I am so in love with this stone...

It was a breathtaking piece of jewelry....I actually went to the Tiffany website to learn more about it but it wasn't there, probably one of a kind. Aquamarines with turquoise, beautiful....

I own and love all types of turquoise, but I love Sleeping Beauty just as much as the other types. When it's good . . it's STUNNING!
