If Q keeps increasing their prices people will shop on other sites. I suspect many have already. Usually when a vendor says he cannot bring back an at the lower price, the item usually does not come back. Raising prices on the same items does not seem cool to me.

As long as quality is there, I don't care about the increase as the cost of living has increased in general. But, I won't pay a high price for poor quality.

I love beads, nobody did them better then CP back in the day...JK sells many bead necklaces however he almost always includes an ugly pendant with them! Which is better then an enhancer (won't buy them) but he doesn't solder the silver findings. Excuse me you charge over the top prices then don't solder the silver rings..JUNK

I am confused about his explanation of "coral"... he did explain that coral is not really coral... I think he was trying to say that it is a sponge which lives in with the coral? Also, he was selling a coral bead bracelet and necklace... but I thought that coral was so limited that an entire bracelet or necklace would be thousands... so.... can anybody explain this to me?

That's because it isn't coral at all. On the Kingman mine website look at the retail page for coral, look familiar?

Is it "Apple Coral?" How strange

OK... take a look, too, on that page for the price of "cabochons."

And I guess all of that story he told about wading out in the water amongst the living corals, etc., was probably just a "tall tale?"

It's OK... I AM a rockhound and admire polished rocks of any kind... even granite.

O/T: It really gets my goat that "our" USA Sleeping Beauty stones are now held so widely in other countries. What even "hurts" more is that the large stones are being cut into smaller stones. OUCH

As far as I'm concerned, the faster we get rid of "our Sleeping Beauty" the better. If it weren't for the hype of TV shopping channels, this stuff would be worthless. Turquoise fanciers won't even look at the stuff. It's far from being the worlds most valuable or desirable turquoise. Prior to TV shopping, the only use for it was in Zuni petite point jewelry.

This is the page from the latest T&C magazine. This SB Aqua marine necklace by Tiffany was worn by Cate Blanchette at Oscars. May be it is worthless Turq suited only for Zuni accent work, but high design jewelry world ( many others besides Tiffany and CO) are not aware of it. I could take this junk if I could.... Lol

That necklace is a real piece of work! I'd love to see it in person.
