At the beginning of the month, I ordered 2 pieces from JTV as a present for someone I will be seeing tomorrow.  I've been tracking the package.  A few days ago, it arrived in the USPS Distribution Center in my city.  I live just south of Boston, Massachusetts.

I figured I'd probably get it today in the mail, but when I tracked it this morning, the package is now on its way to Phoenix, Arizona!

OK, I'll contact JTV CS.  They tracked the package, said, yes, you're right, it's on its way right now to Phoenix.  Uhhh...Then I was asked why didn't I contact the Post Office?  Because when similar things like this have happened, I was told to contact the seller.

I called my local PO branch and was told that I should be speaking with...you guessed it! JTV!

So now I don't have my items, no help, no apologies, no remedy offered.  Someone in Arizona will soon be enjoying my items and have my information.

Awesome.  Nothing I can do, I guess.

I'd call JTV CS again and get another CS who perhaps has updated info now.  Remain calm on the phone, thank them for helpjng to look in to this. Hopefully they will.

@Denise65.  You'll undoubtedly get your items eventually but it's not unusual for something to get put on the wrong truck.   Obviously,  they're not going to send the cops out to stop the truck and riffle through its contents to find your package.   You have no choice but to patiently wait.

I'd call them back again too--you have all the info --just need to be persistant and civil  as annoying as this all is.. I have done that altho must say I use Live Chat instead --seems I get more results that way. As for contacting the post office??? Yeah, right?? Like herding cats there!! but keep on it--maybe suggest you be refunded as who knows if or when your stuff shows up!!

This has happened to me a few times with USPS.  The package seems to have been thrown on the wrong truck.  Travels around the country and someone finally notices and sends it on to me.

I believe you will get the package.  Mistakes happen.

Thank you all.  I will contact JTV again on Monday, hopefully I will reach someone more trained.

I think what threw me is the JTV rep's complete lack of interest in helping, or even sympathizing with me.  I've been ordering from catalogs and online for decades, of course from time to time, something goes awry.  But normally, when that happens, and you contact the seller, they can at least feign a little interest.

Call the Post Office??  Great idea lol.  The PO rep was certainly surprised to hear from me lol.

Have a nice weekend everyone!

you just have to wait until its delivered. jtv has nothing to do with how the postal service delivers its items. the Q does this all the time, bypasses the post office in my city and rerouts to other usps. btw, I think boston p.o. might have somethink to do with it because i live near there too, and this happens alot

I also ordered a pair of earrings from JTV and was keeping track of it.  I live in GA but it left Tennessee and went to Las Vegas but it did eventually get back to me.  The CS person I spoke with was very nice and said she thought maybe it wanted to do some gambling before it came back in this direction.

I was able to reach a very helpful (and apologetic) CS rep at JTV.  She contacted the Post Office and had the items rerouted; they are currently in New Jersey.  She said that other rep should not have told me to follow up on the package myself.  I didn't think that sounded right.

Hopefully, I'll get my items in a day or two.  I did show the gift recipient a photo of their future presents, so that worked out OK.

Thanks again all.

My problem with JTV is returns. They used to be fairly prompt on issuing refund on a return, but, something has definitely changed. I returned 2 items on 9/12. Tracking shows them delivered and picked up on 9/16. I received credit on one the items on 9/21. Why it took 5 days to be refunded is odd and the other item I am still waiting on my credit. I am sure I will have to call CS to find out what is going on.
