I'm a long-time Judith Ripka fan. One of my first purchases was made around 10 years ago here on QVC and I've enjoyed her pieces that I've collected over the years. About 3 or 4 years ago, I started to notice a dramatic difference in the quality of the sterling/metals used in her lovely designs. I'm terribly disheartened. Almost everything that I've purchased over the past few years has been sent back. I feel like the sterling is not as heavy as her earlier designs and has an almost tin-like feel and look to it. I can clearly notice a difference based on the etchings in the designs. I'd really be interested in learning why her product line has changed so much, yet it seems her prices continue to increase. I know that may continue to covet her jewelry but there must be other long-time customers/fans who have noticed this as well. The pieces that I have would have to be pryed from my hands because I don't think we'll ever see the likes of them again. I'm begging Judith to go back to her tried and true quality of years past.
