Woo hoo! I've already picked up a few bargains and it's nice not to stare at tech, massagers and throws, etc., for a change. It's all "from me, to me" gifts now.

I’m so ready for some normal programming!! Tired of gift ideas.. Electronic connections.. Get back to the clothes An shoes An jewelry!! If it’s a beauty day the TS will be a Clarisonic , or some kind of roller for your face. Ugh..

It's totally crazy that it's the 20th of December. No one is getting baubles, bangles nor beads in time for the 25th of December. They have and sell tons of jewelry here. Why oh why do they wait this close to the giving holiday to have a day of jewelry? This show AND MANY others should be a month before now so we can give and receive jewelry items.

I also don't think many of us buy our $1500+ diamond rings off of a website either.

I am taking today off from work to make sugar cookies and wrap gifts. BONUS: jewelry day! Yay! I already have something in my cart!

Last year I got the Affinity diamond earrings at this time when they were the holiday TSV. Great purchase and they arrived in time for Christmas (much to my surprise). I love them and wear them every day. Actually that is the only problem- I don't wear my other earrings much at all now. LOL. I got them in the 1/2 carat size and they are small but really sparkle. Based on my experience with them I would order the diamond ring- I was really impressed with the quality of these earrings. I also like that flexible size Affinity eternity band, how cool it that? You can wear it on different fingers and it accommodates larger knuckles or day to day changes in ring size.

This could be a dangerous day for me. I need to tell myself that there will be other post-holiday jewelry days and pace myself!

@Aimeewells I agree. Last night I saw some kind of one size fits all blanket /sweatshirt thing with sleeves and hood. Uh, where do you wear this?

What's crazy about a third-of-a-century tradition? A jewelry gift 24-hour event was held on December 18, 19 or 20th every year from 1987 to 2009. In this case, it was not guaranteed shipping all day but only until Noon ET. QVC customers don't know to watch in November for a 24-hour jewelry event because there has never been one. This is an established tradition going back 33 years and the exact show times are made available six weeks in advance so jewelry gift shoppers can plan in advance.

I got the 1 carat Affinity diamond ring in 14K white. I also ordered the 14K hot air balloon other day. It will arrive Christmas Eve. The diamond ring is on wait list. Both are for me.

EDIT: Also picked up the sapphire ring in sterling

I warm up by getting on the recumbent bike then I'm good and hot
