Re: Is Pandora out of style and dated?

I live in a small town in GA. I was in a jewelry store here and asked the jeweler the same question. He said this was the best line he has sold and the longevity was surprising even to them.

Many ladies here have slide charm bracelets, but they are extremely expensive to collect. This is a inexpensive way to have a memory bracelet.

Re: Is Pandora out of style and dated?

I love my trollbead bracelets, and so do several of my friends. We actively add new beads as we see ones that "speak" to us.

I have other friends who are NOT interested at all...to each his own, and jewelry styles, just like clothing styles, are very personal.

The jewelry style I don't get, is where ladies wear rings on many if not all of the fingers on her hand...but I have a friend who does that too.

edited to add that trollbeads have been around since the "70's" ... too long to be called a fad.

Re: Is Pandora out of style and dated?

I never got into the Pandora frenzy. There is nothing wrong with Pandora beads or bracelets --they are pretty and can be very highly individualized. But for me, all I could think about is how heavy and even bulky the bracelets would be once completed. For me it was more of a decision about comfort. I can understand the appeal of these bracelets, however.

If you like something, you should wear it, no matter the "fashion". Fashion should be about the person, more than anything else. Why can't we all be individuals? Jewelry should be fun, not stressful. Wear what you want, own the look, and be proud.

Not where I am from ... there are TWO Pandora stores in the nearby Mall. I like Trollbeads myself. I have several bracelets in different color combinations I add beads to here and there.

If you still like it, wear it.
