Interesting tracking info

I ordered a pair of earrings from HSN. I hate their delivery method, which is the one where UPS ground takes forever to move the item across the country (I'm in Seattle), then they waste another day or two transferring the item to the post office for final delivery.

However, today my tracking says that UPS decided to deliver it to me themselves, rather than the post office transfer nonsense, and it's out on the van today.

It's not that close to Christmas that they need to cut a day off the delivery time, but I appreciate it anyway. Thank you, UPS Smile
