IS GUNMETAL IN OR OUT FOR SUMMER????

I happen to notice that Sharon Case's jewelry is reduced. She has two pretty necklaces J151978 - one is gold and one in gunmetal. Perhaps someone could tell which I will get more use out of towards Spring and Summer? If you have these necklaces, which do you feel you would wear more daytime/nightime? Thank you.
