I haven't sold any jewelry on eBay in about 2 years and now I way to sell a few items, does anyone know how the market is for selling Judith Ripka items right now?

@Squirrel Lover   No but when I saw Judith's name it made me think that I have not seen her in a long, long time.  There are a lot of women that love her jewelry and I bet you would have no problem selling with good photos and descriptions.  GOod luck.

@Squirrel Lover Look at completed listings and you can see the most recent prices received for her jewelry.  You can find out that info using Advanced Search.

Update!!! I just sold 4 out of 5 of my Judith Ripka pieces that I wanted to sell! I made $400!

I still have a few pieces that I love and will keep those.

For those who have sold jewelry (or other things) on eBay, how did you learn how to do it?

@Kindaglitzy it is not that hard but it's time-consuming you just click sell and slowly go through the describing process. If you overprice your item they don't sell and it is disappointing. You have to be realistic about what you will except. For me, if I got my use out of something then I consider that not as a loss, but as a use. Some sellers get really caught up in getting what they "want" for the item for me, though, I am putting it on ebay because I am finished with it and want to get it out of my house.

@Squirrel Lover Thanks for responding. Years ago I purchased a book about it but never did anything and have since donated the book. I have donated a lot of my jewelry over the years and sold quite a bit to US Goldbuyers (primarily gold) several years ago. Since I recently read on this forum that they now buy silver I am thinking of looking into that. I have some Joe Esposito jewelry (you may remember him), mostly necklaces that are pretty heavy in silver weight that I want to do something with. I’d rather handle my jewelry downsizing myself then to have the person who will handle my affairs someday just do “whatever” with them in the interest of just getting rid of things.

last year, i bought a three stone diamonique and eternity (like band) of Judiths on ebay. they were two seperate orders, but i made them a wedding set. the prices were pretty reasonable. i paid under a hundred dollars. i love them. i used to have a store on ebay years ago, but had to close when all the big inventory sellers moved in. i still shop there though.

Hi..I too am interested in selling a few things I didn't want to either consign locally or donate...not all jewelry, some other things like tumi luggage, frye breifcase, dolls.

I've done my research to see what's selling where, how much etc...and like another poster said...I'm willing just to get something fair, knowing I'll take a loss. My question is...how do you ship??  I realize shipping a ring, and shipping a large, heavy canvas bag will be different...but how do you learn how/where/what to do about shipping/ship costs?  That's always been what's stopped me. Tks.
