Have you noticed how this line is creeping up? I'm thinking they hit a thousand dollar price point before they are through. They are finding the QVC customer will actually pay these prices. I have a solid silver chevron cuff I got on sale years ago for only $79.00, nothing like that available nowdays.

i like this line, mainly because it is a bit more modern looking. i REALLY miss the RLM line!

that being said, i never buy anything when it first comes out. it seems like items are getting marked down faster and faster these days and no reason why i cannot wait. almost weekly i see anywhere from 3 - 5 pieces of JAI on lunchtime specials.

Have you priced nice costume jewelry lately? I don't mean Target or Walmart.

I don't find Jai prices high for the quality and craftmanship. It may have gone up, what hasn't, but I don't think it is overpriced.

Besides the higher price of silver, there is the rising cost of logistics to get the raw materials from the ground and on up the chain to your front door.

I was just reading that silver prices have gone up 70% in the past year. So you could say that is reason why Jai prices keep escalating. However, why are aren’t other shopping channels raising prices exponentially. In particular, JTV has very reasonable silver jewelry as does ShopHQ and ShopLC.

The prices can never go higher than the market will bear. Unfortunately, there is a group of fans here that think JAI is the original David Yurman and John Hardy line. There are some pretty items but if I am going to spend that kind of money, show me the gold.
