The recent discussions about regrets and classy styles of yesteryear made me start to think about how my tastes have changed over the years. I'm very happy with my forty something year old self but I think my teenage self would think I have become very boring. (This could also be because my two teenagers tell me this quite often even though their friends compliment me.) I do think my teenage self would love to get a hold of my jewelry.
I loved jewelry my entire life. As a teenager I rarely dressed up and hated skirts or dresses because I thought my legs were too skinny. I loved jeans and boots and I still do. I really struggled as a teenager finding clothes that fit because I am tall. I'm still not a fan of really high heels because I am tall and they bother an old injury. Today I don't mind skirts or dresses but finding pants and jeans long enough can still be a struggle. I have to buy most pants and jeans online because I need a 34 to 36 inch inseam.
So ladies, how have your tastes changed over time?
