Re: How about CZs WITH inclusions?

A good quality diamond is NOT grey. It is pure white and sparkles in blues and yellows.Sadly, those are, for the most part, heritage diamonds now, because what is being mined is no where near the quality diamonds used to be.Because my Grandfather was a jewelry designer I an fortunate to have inherited some beautiful vintage diamonds, and there is nothing sold today that compares.Give me a small but perfect vintage diamond over the big , gaudy and not nearly as pretty and sparkly, diamonds found in the stores now a days.

@151949  ITA. When looking for a diamond, you consider the 4 Cs: clarity, color, cut, and carat weight.

How about making stones that are more the color of diamonds currently available on the market?  My CZ's are too "white," I guess.  My diamonds seem to have a hint of grey.

@depglass,

I know what you mean about the grey tint to diamonds. I bought a CZ bracelet that has actual grey CZs, not dark grey but just a hint of grey, and to me that bracelet looks more like real diamonds. When I wear it next to my white Diamonique bracelet, the grey bracelet looks like it could be the real thing.Woman Happy

@depglass  A CZ is supposed to mimic a “perfect” diamond. Why produce a cz with flaws and bad color? I doubt they’d sell...neither would a diamond with poor color and inclusions that were visible to the eye.

No this would not help.  They look fake because the wearer knows they are not real and would not be able to afford a real stone like that.  The fakeness of the stone has to do with its size and who wears it.  Also real diamonds have a different sparkle to them but sometime only a jeweler can tell the difference.
