Re: How Much For A Good Jewelry Box?

I also have the HSN Prestige boxes with the lining that prevents tarnish. I decided to buy these after searching online and in stores for a new box. I could not find anything that suited my needs.

With Prestige I was able to buy the boxes in the styles I needed so I could custom organize my jewelry. I bought 3 necklace boxes because I have more necklaces than anything else. I also bought 2 other boxes; one has small compartments with a few ring rolls, and the other has larger compartments for my pins and bracelets. All 5 boxes stack neatly since the dimensions are the same. I don’t remember the exact amount I spent, but I know it was less than $100 for all 5 boxes. Love mine!

Re: How Much For A Good Jewelry Box?

I have a jewelry armoire--$100--my hubs got it for me and it holds a ton with many compartments.

I have a smaller version sitting on top of it that I paid $60 at the Q many years ago--has alot of room to and is supposed to have the tarnish resistent lining---not sure it works tho.

I am toying with the over the door jewelry armoires that H#SN sells. Seems like a good space saver and will hold everything ,so I see it to wear it. I forget what I have when it is stuck in drawers.

Re: How Much For A Good Jewelry Box?

I have 2 jewelry boxes. One sits on my dresser usually and All the contents are my very best jewelry. This one has the gold and the expensive precious stones.Since our house is currently for sale, this one is hidden in my underwear drawer under my clothing. I also have a standing armoire  that has my silver jewelry, and my costume jewelry in it.The silver is in a drawer of the armoire inside a case that keeps it from tarnishing.Normally I keep my engagement ring in a porcelain box on my dresser but since we have the house up for sale I've just been wearing it to keep it safe.
