@GoneButNotForgotten ---I LOVE the dyed colors of pearls---not garish to me at all--have lovely blues and greens and multicolors in necklaces that I wear alot---brightens up my day and the things I wear. Also have the boring natural colors too--but I love them as well.

@Shanus Your pearls sound so lovely. What a wonderful family history you have with them.

Love your idea for the gift to your granddaughters.

@GinaV24   Thank you. I spoke w/ my DIL first and she has a place for safe keeping so they aren't lost taken care of properly.

My MIL told me that one should wear their pearls, if not, they become sad and lose their luster.

I ❤️❤️❤️ this. Pearls are making a big comeback in fashion right now.

@MG Chris   Well, mine must be in great shape. I've worn mine w/ jeans and tees. Love anything "pearls".

I also have lots of Honora pearls and love them! I've been wearing one of my favorites, a cluster necklace with autumnal tones, fairly often over the past month or so.

If anyone is interested, there are sterling and gold-plated Honora earrings featured in the Online Special Deal category right now (added a couple days ago):
