I'm really baffled by the Honora pearls being offered in the last few years. I know they are dyed, but they are almost looking like plastic replicas of natural pearls to me. Are they dipping them in a faux nacre? When Honora first appeared on QVC, the pearls looked like natural pearls but now, even though the color combinations are attractive on TV, even the whites, blacks and grays look supernatural to me - - not like a soft, lustre that a good pearl has. I wish Joel would address this as it's kind of making me crazy. I like them, but catch myself wishing they looked more like what Mother Nature had in mind.
