It does seem less yellow/more golden in the natural daylight, but it still is, nonetheless. I gotta tell you, the shot I got today that I uploaded about took my breath away tho. They almost look like little balls of carnival glass!

I've actually been quite pleased with the bronzo. I love rose gold, so the color is a no brainer, and it's worn very well for me. I got one of, if not the first necklace that Honora did in the rose bronze and have had it since Sept. 2012, and it looks like the day I bought it (as do all my bronzo pieces). I've bought several more Honora pieces since, as well as the actual Bronzo Italia line. But I will admit, I think the price tag is a bit high for what it is.

I like the "Roman Soldier" comment. That brushy fin that ran down their helmets. From some angles and depending on where the shadows fall with the light, that one sometimes makes me think of an oyster/clam/mollusk of sorts.

I meant to add another thing that I don't so much like, and that's that the jump ring the lobster claw fastens into is quite small. The lobster claw is big and easy to use, and I appreciate that, but the ring is almost impossible. I do have some larger ones that I bought for another necklace with the same problem tho, so if I keep it I'll just add a bigger ring.

I have a white fireball that I call "Wilson," after the volleyball character in Cast Away. It's round at the bottom, and the tall fin curves over the top. I think they look like falling meteors (hence, the name).

LOL. I loved that movie.

I've seen pics of some incredibly beautiful and interesting fireballs. I've often thought of starting just a loose pearl collection of the different types. Such a wonder of nature, even if man helps sometimes.

Whatever happened with this? Keep or return?

ennui, I ended up returning them. I just couldn't get past that front pearl. It was a hard decision, but I just couldn't love them as much as I needed to for the money. I just sent them back last week but Q has received them and noted my account as such. If you were thinking about them, maybe now is time to order and see if you get that one!

Aside from the yellow pearl, did you like the necklace, in principle?
