I've tried posting twice tonight to get help and both times my post was a "no show". I have now been to 7 jewelers trying to get my watch sized. 4 of them wouldn't even touch it, 2 of them tried to tap the pins out and 1 jeweler wasn't in. Those of you who have successfully managed to get links removed how did they do it? Do they tap them out or do they twist out???? On most watch bands they have arrows to indicate which direction the pins come out, but not on this one. The directions were hopelessly inadequate to tell a person how to do it. Pull out the pin, remove the pin and disconnect the link and pull back the pin??? Which side of the pin. I must be obtuse not to understand that but then neither can the jewelers? I am going to do one last ditch effort tomorrow and see if there is a watch maker in town who can do it. If not, my only other option appears to be to return it. Any help would be appreciated. kiwi
