Sorry I do not know how to post photos here but would some one with Jewelry knowledge look at this bracelet and ring and let me know if you think it matches?
The person I am buying it for loves big rings and unique pieces The bracelet would allow me to purchase a Citrine Ring at a later time.
TIA for anyone that will help out. BTW, you will not hurt my feelings if you don't like it.

That first one - oh dear! Silver and rope and whatever else that was for $940??? Mind blown.
Needless to say I don't find it at all appealing but then I don't care for silver at all and it just looks cheap to me.
The second one - well, still don't like silver. But I like rhodolite and have some but all of mine is either loose stone or pieces that are in gold. Rhodolite is so pretty. To me, however, that ring looks really - I don't know - busy, maybe?
Clearly, I'm the wrong one to ask. hehe ![]()
I hope you find the perfect item, though.

I do like the bracelet, but wow is it spendy! I do not think the ring and bracelet go together though. They seem to be different styles to me. I would not wear them together.

That bracelet is cool. Not sure it's $900 cool but it is cool.
To your question: I don't think they match. The styles and design are totally different.

@INDIANA BONES I love rhodalite garnet, citrine as well and Barbara Bixby.
I actually highly recommend BB's TSV ring J319585 in either rhodalite garnet or citrine or her snake ring J320118, which has rhodalite and it unique and bold. I really like both pieces, they are not that expensive but make a statement.
I think the garnet ring you chose is a bit too much of the stone and is lacking in style. I think the citrine cuff is nice but way too expensive IMO. I hope that helps. I would love to receive either of these rings as a gift!!

I think you hit the nail on the head for big unique pieces. They aren't a perfect match, but I think they are complimentary pieces. The ring may be a tad dressier or sparklier than the bracelet.

Personally ~ and I like Barbara Bixby; both items are very overpriced! For BB pieces at this point in her career she is resting on the laurels of her success. Break that piece down in terms of gemstones, silver findings, leather, etc.. The design is unique and beautiful and, I believe Barbara still does most of her own designing...with a team for sure. But she is in charge, IMHO. I have about ten pieces of her designs going back over ten years.
Now that metal prices are falling, sterling is less of an item to fear the price of. In the pic the citrine is pretty, hass good colour. However, in real life, you never really know, until you have it. I've seen top gem quality citrine but, I've also seen light golden transparen citrine in little charms or dainty rings. With all that said, I think the bracelet is worth $300-500. NOT close to $1000!
Onto the ring. It is is awesome. Very gothic looking, as is the bracelet. I love garnets, one of my faves plus, my sons birthstone. It's a romantic stone especially in the deep red colour! In fact Barbara B., should make the citrine bracelet in garnet! Back to the ring...it's gorgeous, but again not worth the price they are asking for it. Garnets are a very common gemstone. In fact, it's often found at gold mining sites as a by product!
Check other her websites and networks that sell jewelry. JTV comes to mind here. Some people make fun of this network however, they sell great sterling gemstone jewelry. At least it's something to compare it to. And, if you watch closely on the gem presentations...the host share true interesting facts about gemstones.
In the end, it's your decision and your money. And, sometimes a girl just needs what a girl wants!!!

Thanks everyone for your help. I am going to look at a couple more rings now. I will let you know which one I pick. I found the bracelet very unique.
I had been waiting for a D Prince morganite ring with Diamonds to come way down on price but it seems it will never do so. It is a real beauty another network. I know she would love that and the retail value was very high on it which does give one a piece of mind as the appraisal usually does run close I liked the pink gold and it was gold not silver.
.This piece will probably not appraise high but is unique. Oh....men have to think so hard to keep you women happy.
but you all earn it.
Thanks so very much everyone for your kindness. It is greatly apprecciated. Now I hope I don't pass out when I make the purchase. LOL

You just saved my wallet some $$ tonight. Thanks so much for your knowledge of the value. I am not savy on that subject.
I actually wanted a large morganite stone in rose gold but the only one I really like is not on sale on the other nDallas Prince 14K Rose Gold 9.54ctw Emerald Cut Morganite & White Zircon Ring - it was on sale when Prince was on, I missed it. It needs to come down on price before I can get it. Others have come down on price but not this one yet. Number -146-409 Maybe they will reduce it soon but I probably will be broke then. Is that not how it normally works? Something breaks at home.
No problem, I have until December and I have you girls to help me.
Thanks a bunch.
