Help! Resetting time on IM Ceramic watch.

I traveled to a different time zone and I can not get the stem out. To set it I had to scr*w and push in at the same time. Do I have to scr*w and pull at the same time to get it out? Although I have tried this. I have also tried to pry it up and that did not work. Has anyone had to reset their watch? Any info appreciated.
