pearls are graded. I wish qvc/honora would disclose the grade/treatment(s) such as dye, to the consumer.

I ordered from the Honora Reserve 14K earrings. Beautiful luster. Im takin them to a gemologist. 1) remove from the plastic bags. Pearls need to breathe. 2) do not store in a ssfe.

Lastly, avoid hairspray, makeup, etc., and wear them. FYIMy receipt says nothing abt the pearls fr. "reserve."

Item no. J291543 m these have more lustre than a AAA rated black Akoya pearl pendant.

{#emotions_dlg.biggrin}bed bath and beyond sells honora? this store has lifetime warranty on their products.

In fact, Honora should have a warranty, in my opinion, on their products (settings, perhaps.)

fyi ring above is gorgeous however, I would be afraid to wear a pearl, opal, or any other soft gem in a ring or bracelet setting. Had antique ring. Opals cracked, broke. It was insured. My gemologist was unable to find opals of that quality. Replaced with hi end opals but not same.

I agree, BH. I had a white gold and pearl pinkie ring my late husband gave me when we were first married. Wore it a LOT. The pearl suffered for all the wear and it has made me reluctant to ever buy another pearl ring.

I just received the black pearl crescent moon earrings in a beautiful satin pouch inside a box. The earrings were lovely, just what I expected.

I'd tell you that you don't know what you're talking about, but then you'd be insulted.

Therefore, I'll be the one who's insulted because I thought I had Honora that was lovely.

I love my Honora items from the last 10 years. You have to pick and choose. Most items are excellent. The few I've received that are sub par in quality I have returned. Love them all every time I wear a piece.

i agree. just because they say Honora on them does not make them quality. The stuff brought to QVC is junk - and high priced junk at that. But as long as people will buy it QVC and Joel Schecter will continue to sell it and laugh all the way to the bank.

Not Everything is poor quality
