My guess is that he didn't meet HSN's sales goals - ShopHQ's expectations would be much lower.

Another vendor (not jewelry) who left ShopHQ, left to QVC for a minute and returned was Joyce Giraud.

She is very popular on shophq, never knew she was on Q.

I had pretty much given up on Shop HQ, but Michael would bring me back.  The problem is that DISH and Shop HQ have totally broken up.  They don't even have that "working it out" message on anymore, they just kick you to the closest numbered channel.  Rats.

i think Michael was a much better fit at SHQ, he just seemed out of place on HSN.

I have to agree with you.  He was not his bubbly self.  Jewelry still nice but something was off.  Shophq use to be very nice to watch.  I really enjoyed their jewelry shows especially the one from Arizona.

@sunshine 919    Michael had a great fol!owing at ShopHQ, built over many years.  He was obviously quite at home and very comfortable there.

At HSN, many people never heard of him and didn't appreciate the quality of his jewelry.

I have probably 35+ pieces of his work that I love but have not bought any since before he left ShopHQ and probably won't buy more since I no longer watch that channel.

Speaking of channel hoppers, I wonder what Paul Deasy and Judy are doing now?  Maybe they gave up and retired?

@CatsyCline    I guess that was their only alternative since they've worked for every shopping channel, some more than once.

@Kachina624  AFAIK they don't sell anything.  He gives gemstone lessons and they do "cutesy" cooking demos on her channel.

Isn't he the vendor who was mixed up in the "Ametrine" scandal?  i know he had a sapphire ring and upsell TS ...iirc was so bad the whole lot was yanked off the site.

@CatsyCline    I don't know about any scandals involving Paul but I was never a fan.  His merchandise was very poor quality and he didn't know nearly as much as he though he did.  Very arrogant.
