It will be affordable then gold day prices.  Most gems (even the precious ones) are fairly cheap without gold content and diamonds.  Once you remove that by adding silver and topaz to masquerading as diamonds, you should have a good buying day. 

Gem sopping is costly all the time because they have all gems (including the lowely amethyst or quartz) because they are dripping in diamonds and set in either 14K, 18K or platinum. One you add them, they will skyrocket in price. 

An example is J365751 18K gold bracelet.  But sadly semiprecious junk gems.  It's over the $1,000.00 mark. You would have thought they would have them instead.
