Re: Favorite Honora color combos?

@Pyrite2616 - There must have been something in the air to start you down this path this week with your bracelets and research of all the past color combinations; during today's Honora show, they featured colored pearl necklace options:

Re: Favorite Honora color combos?

@loriqvcYes, the station necklaces that were supposed to be on the July Gem Day. I see that they finally premiered, thank you.

Lori, can I ask you what you think of the Jet pearls? The reviews I've read say they don't have luster, but as they only used them as an accent, or at most every third pearl in a strand, it doesn't seem that it would ruin the beauty of the pearls or lessen the design as a whole. What do you think?

Re: Favorite Honora color combos?

@Pyrite2616 - I think the Jet pearls do have a luster, but it is fairly muted due to the dark foundation color. You can still see the iridescence you expect from a pearl; it simply isn't as vibrant as what you'd experience with a white or lighter-colored pearl. In the Deep Grape pearl strand, the Grape pearls also have that dark tone and their luster is similarly (though not as strongly) muted, and the overall effect is a bright luster from the Black pearls, a mid-range luster from the Grape pearls, and a lower luster from the Jet pearls. Hope that makes sense! Let me know if you want further details.  Smiley Happy

For the longest time I have been trying to order this bracelet that has been unavailable 'Honora Cultured Ringed Pearl Bracelet w/Magnetic clasp' I like the color combo as I wear denim jeans almost daily, I finally found it available 'As Is' J439938 and ordered.

So these are the pictures I was looking for with one of the first multi-color Honora cultured pearl strands. The advertisement with Deanna Fontanez was in TV Guide Magazine for the Today's Special Value that aired on ‎Sunday, ‎November ‎18, ‎2007 at Midnight and again during Silver Style (pictured). The colors are white, gray, black, chocolate, kiwi, pistachio and dark green.

Re: Favorite Honora color combos?

Wow, these are beautiful. I love my pearls although I stick with the normal white, gray, and black colors. Not a fan of the garish colors but from those shown, I do like Blossom, Meadow, and Rainforest. I have a bracelet trio from years ago in a sage green that I really like but don't see that color often. Thanks for sharing all these!

Be sure and read the "fine print".     Some of those "exotic" colors are dyed...

Re: Favorite Honora color combos?

I guess that I'm a bit old fashioned. I don't care for colored pearls. I like mine a basic white. It looks classy, goes with almost everything and looks great on my medium cool olive skin tone.
