@Shanus --No there was no picture---just being funny--- and I got you confused with another poster whose daughter lives near my area----so sorry-----Yes I am very close to Redmond, in fact lived there for 10 years---pre Microsoft of course and know Sammamish too!  Does she like the area and WA state?

@wagirl   After her years in Northern VA, she finds the weather difficult....lots of rain and many months of gloom. She's acclumated, but not her favorite part of the country.

It seems like only yesterday I was celebrating my 50th!  Both of my kids are still in their 30s but son in law just turned 40.

@Shanus ---Oh, how I know what she means----so much rain and grey and it lasts sometimes until July---  but while that is a drag, we usually don't have the gnarly weather the rest of the country goes thru--except of course for that horrlble heat dome thing a couple years ago when it was over 100*--- for nearly 3 solid days--it was 108* one day before it  stopped--then the wild fires last year was awful too----sure glad there isn't a thing called climate change!!!
