Eclipse Question

Hi Ladies!

So in love with these Eclipse earrings. Ordered the clip-on even though I have pierced ears because I thought they would fit better. Bads News...Good News. Bad News: an earring fell off while I was sitting in church Good news: I felt it fall into my lap so I didn't lose it.

Question: I read on the reviews that others had this problem. Can I have this adjusted by a jeweler or is it a irrepairable design flaw? I am not sure I want to mess around with an exchange and I am not sure that I would trust it anyway.
