Does anyone miss leverbacks?

I have passed on more earrings because they have gone back to shephard's hooks, like the Honora TSV last week. Put them on leverbacks and I'll buy them. Do they really cost that much more? I hate the look of shephard's jooks on me (short hair) plus I'm constantly worrying about loss. Yes, I have the stoppers, I still worry.
