Last October I bought a beautiful round gold druzy ring for one of my daughters. QVC advertised by QVC as 14k (item J260976)--yesterday, she took the ring to her jeweler for cleaning and he told her that while the ring was beautiful, it was not gold- he put some substance on the ring and underneath is copper!!-- I was so embarrased when she told me. I reviewed the paperwork and learned about a electroform process.. still don't understand why QVC would not disclose that the ring is 14K gold plated over copper!! very upset since the ring was originally listed at $630.00 but I pay $340.00 and change on clearance. Please let me know if you have the same problem with this item.
