I did not because I bought a pair of white zircon inside/outside hoops the last time he was on just a few weeks ago. I have already worn them a couple of times and love them. They also have the clicker backs.

I need the black spinel but I am going to wait for them to go on sale. I have noticed that ShopHQ's TTV are less than 20% off but they always end up marked way down to 50% off or more. I've never not been able to get something I wanted but I have to be diligent.

The dog tag pendants were a TTV for $99.00 and during this gem week were down to $76.00!! I will eventually nab the largest black spinel once it goes on sale.

That's a dangerous game, waiting for those sale prices. But some are 40-50% and even more, so if you watch as much as I do, there is always something from these Three Amigos I can get a deal on. But something I want desperately? I don't take a chance on that.

I think he said he did not use black rhodium this time because his customers asked him not to.

The description says black rhodium was used on the amy, garnet and spinel, and I can tell by the close ups that it was used. If others have complained about that, he needs to listen to his customers!

There is no jewelry I want desperately. LOL

I have had great luck with my strategy. I have never once missed out on getting something that I wanted because I waited for a price reduction. And if I do, something else will come along. However, I have been burned when something I rushed to buy ends up at 60% off what I paid.

I try never to miss when Chuck is on. I'm also FB friends with him and he will announce on his page when something is going to be deeply discounted and what time. He also usually posts the TTV as well along with the price.

LipstickDiva--I like Chuck, too! I have several of his pieces and have not been disappointed. Several years ago, he used to do a show called "Platinum Players"--speaking of sales, I snagged a heavy 18K/Platinum/Diamond two tone look's like a stack ring for $999.00. When I told my jeweler, he about fainted--he could not believe the price (WAY low)! It's one of my best purchases as I wear it every day as my wedding ring. I loved it so much that I had my jeweler make a matching "engagement" ring in Platinum and a high-end 4 ct. Asscher cut CZ. No one EVER suspects that it is not a real diamond--it makes my husband look really good--LOL!

I bought the small hoops because I have been begging him for so called huggable hoops. They came today and are completely worth the $79. they are in the white zircon and sparkle like anything. I'm going to ask that he also do some in diamonds and other gem stones. The other hoops have been too big but these are just right!

bigbaglady - Im glad you like your hoops and cant wait to get mine - especially the white topaz medium ones - I have scaled down - when I was younger I wore the large size but now find the medium looks better.

Got my rhodalite mediums today. Very dark..a total disappointment. They do not read as any sort of garnet..they look nearly black.
