I thought dimonique was supposed to keep people guessing.
Every year, the carat weights and number of cuts increase.
There was a bracelet by Kathy Levin I loved; however, it was
16 carats! If you are wearing the jewelry because it is beautiful,
fine. If you are wearing it to pass as the real thing, it has to be
reflective of your lifestyle.

"If you are wearing it to pass as the real thing, it has to be reflective of your lifestyle."
You mean "putting on the dog?"

@Daffney I have never worn Diamonique to "keep people guessing". I bought and still wear it because I like the look of white diamonds and don't want to invest my money in them. I don't want to risk losing diamonds or having them stolen. So wearing a fantasy piece of diamonique is fine with me, and I freely admit that I am wearing Diamonique if someone asks me. I see your point but I don't assume anything about why someone wears a piece of jewelry.

With the price of Moissanite falling like crazy, I prefer that over any cz. Moissy and cz are becoming competitive in the market now. Moissy out-sparkles any other fake diamond out there.

I would love to see some rings under a carat. That's definitely more reflective of my lifestyle. I like more of a demure look and I think it looks more realistic. My hands are always in use so I need something that doesn't get in the way or get caught on something.

I have been shopping with QVC for a very long time and that was the original concept, for you to know and for you to share
if you so chose. The home I live in, the car I drive, the job I
hold would scream FAKE if I wore a 16 karat bracelet and would put into question the good jewelry I have. Whether we
like it or not, people are very judgmental.

TBH, I just wear what I like and I really don't care what people might think. For me life is too short for it to not have sparkle.
I like things that sparkle even if it's from a fake stone.

I wear what I want to wear. Not interested in others' opinions, only my own.

I think diamonique or any other kind of faux diamond jewelry is a great option. Sometimes it's a choice because of price and sometimes it's because a person does not want to wear diamonds that they have for fear of losing them or having them stolen. Also, with the availability of faux diamonds and other faux gems, it gives a person the ability to amass a bigger selection and wardrobe of beautiiful items of jewellry that they might not otherwise be able to afford if they were real. I like and enjoy both real and faux and see no problem with either, and I don't feel anybody has to explain the difference to anybody when you're wearing them. Also, if you like the bigger stones and they suit you and fit your needs, then great. I usually prefer a smaller stone because my hands and fingers are smaller.

Awhile ago, I purchased Amy S.'s large oval 3 stone ring and a matching band. It's quite similar to my wedding set and I like it for this time of year when mine are put away for safe keeping. They're also great for travel. I have Diamonique studs that I wear often instead of diamond ones.
Women ask if my wedding set is "real", too and I just don't think it's their business.
