She had a show yesterday, anybody know if she made this announcement?

Yes - you heard right. Jennifer Coffey announced at the beginning of the show that after twenty years, it was Barbara's last show on Q. I changed the channel, so I don't know what Barbara said about her leaving.

Isn't it weird that she had some brand new pieces in the show yet it's her last show?

Retiring, moving to a bigger platform like Amazon, a smaller one like her own website?

This is what was said on her Facebook page. Appears QVC will still sell her jewelry.
"Hi Everyone, Barbara wanted to thank all of you for being there for her shows and the tremendous response! Deciding not to do on air presentations at QVC was one of the hardest decisions she has ever had to make but after 20 years it was time do the things that she is also passionate about as well as continuing with her jewelry. She's not going to stop creating! We'll have lots of new and exciting things to share with you at BarbaraBixby.com and on social media as well as QVC.com. We hope that you will continue your support and we are all looking forward to enjoying Barbara's beautiful creations!!!"

Same as Louis Dell Olio. He will still continue to design and sell at QVC but will not present any longer.

I'm seeing a trend here. Dropping some of the older, long in the tooth designers from presenting but continuing to sell their products. I suppose the hope is that fresh, younger faces will bring in fresh, younger customers.

WAYYY back in the day when I started watch QVC it was only the host presenting everything. Everyone once in a while there would be a vendor to explain more in depth. I really hated it when they started having a vendor for every product because they repeat so much stuff plus they talk over each other, etc.......

@chrystaltree It was a decision made by Louis as the commute was just too much. As for Barbara I have no idea.
