I've been lately looking at some of the Or Paz & Hagit pieces which I find quite lovely. Glad I purchased Bixby and some Ann King pieces a few years ago when I thought the pricing was very fair vs the current prices. I wish JR would get away from the diamonique items as many here have mentioned recently.

Barbara Bixby's are hand-made. She even mentioned tonight that it is not worth it to the artisans to learn the craft if they can not make a living at it. There is a lot of detail in her pieces and the ones I have are quality pieces. Little pieces of art.

Gold is still up 33% from five years ago ... silver is still up 51% from five years ago. People get excited because metals have gone down in the last six months.

I've been complaining about the cheaply made and tinny jewelry from QVC for a few years now. Are the prices hefty, yes they are. I am spending more dollars today for sterling than I ever have but for me I find it's worth it, we have all seen junk jewelry from Q VC too long ,Purchase from Hagit and JAI so far; and I will pay for the quality and not look back. There have been a few pieces shown a few hours ago that were so gorgeous you could cry, however, they are out of my price range, but not for others and they sold out. There are women out there you are plunking down the big bucks and good for them. The problem lies with the QVC buyer, there is no middle ground; she either buys super high end or cheap. So far, I am enjoying the sterling event, the pieces are looking beautiful and substantial and yes expensive.
