... LR is so good at presenting jewelry. Watched her do kickoff of Creede $ilver last night, great stuff, bought some earrings. Then I turned on Q at 10am this morning for more ... but with Pat. I like Pat, but good grief! "There are many many many earrings like this ..." (oh, so don't get these?); "Marybeth will do finale Saturday at 5, Marybeth will do finale at 5 Saturday, Marybeth will have the finale at 5 Saturday ..." (ok ok so don't watch now, tune in Saturday?); "This is easy, they come in small or large, that's it ..." (Easy? For you? But I'd like to know size, please?); "Antonella, who loves big bold earrings, said if these were any bigger they'd be too big." (Oh! So they are ginormous? Since no clue on actual size, I guess too big?); "I can't do math but these are a great value ..." (Really?) and that was just the first 10 minutes. Plus lots of babbling about her mike, and apologetic asides to producer/camera guys, and banging of bangles. Yikes! Turned it off, will try again later in the day. And now I see why LR and Jill and Antonelka are so great at jewelry shows!!! Presenting jewelry is much more difficult than I realized. Poor Pat, I hope she is not tortured with measuring and math anymore.

On Silver Day I expect Jill or Jane to open and close.

Jill is the absolute best for presenting silver jewelry. I still fondly recall the Sunday mornings when she would do the silver shows. She's what got me started buying silver jewelry. I'm surprised Jill didn't do the open (probably because she had her show Wednesday evening at 7:00). Love Jill doing silver jewelry.

I'll just be glad not to see Jane or especially Jill open or close... And OP, I'm sorry, but I have very little idea what you're trying to convey other than to comment on the host's foibles... To be sure, they all have them...

It's Jane now and she said Rick will follow and Jill will close, so I won't be watching any more after Jane... Can't hack Rick and regardless of how thorough her presentations might be, can't possibly sit through a few hours of Jill. Pat did a very nice show earlier.

I agree, about Jill. What I miss about the Creede shows is when it was ONLY silver. No gems & no layers SS over other metals. I liked the pure/plain silver jewelry. It's been a long time since I saw a GOOD Creede show.

Years ago Pat was an excellent host and she did the 18K gold shows. Dressed up fancy and did a great job. Since she has been on the Morning show for so many years (with Jayne Brown and other co-hosts) her hosting skills are not what they once were. She mostly giggles about everything. The few minutes I can tolerate Pat and Jayne, all Pat does is read off the sizes--this one in XS to 3 X, this one S to XL, etc. One host could do all that. Plus all their antics and joking is time to change the channel.

Jill and Jane T. are great at presenting silver. I like Rick too. I didn't turn QVC on today since their jewelry is not what it once was. Miss those days.

I haven't been watching as long as most of you. I do have the TV on when I'm getting ready in the morning, and I've always enjoyed seeing Jayne and Pat together. Lately, Pat has been on other times. I thought it might be because her daughter has left for college, and she has more time now (?) I know that's the case in a lot of households - not ours though! Anyway, I enjoy seeing both of them - together or separately.
