Yesterday I was browsing and I saw a beautiful diamonique bracelet.  It was  J430365   This one.  The bracelet is really beautiful and based designer diamond bracelet. Yesterday it was on sale for $184.99.  Today I got email ad from QVC. It showed the same bracelet and announced it was dropping the price.  The new price now is: $230.00.  Do they do this often?

Edit:  I got it for the lower price.  I got the silver.  No contest compared to the gold over silver.  35  carats. Memory wire wrap bracelet. Even more confusing the first time I saw it yesterday, they didn't show any presentation.  The next day after the price went up, they did!

Yesterday the tote A626359 was $49.98.  Today it is $85.00.  It wasn't new yesterday, so it wasn't an introductory sale price.  The long and short of it is, they can, and do, just about anything they want with their pricing.  Sometimes the consumer gets lucky, sometimes not.

What galls me was how they worded the ad.  Price lowered.  They had the price $235.00 with an X over it.  Then the lowered price.  The same amount!  By lowering it, they raised it by $51.00.  This was 35 carats.  Next to it was a Diamonique cuff.  11 carats and they wanted $300.00. I asked Cust Serv to give it to me on the lowered price.  They gave it to me.

OMG - yup!! I've seen so many yo-yo pricing on here lately. I have wishlist items that go up and down in price depending on the day. Ugh! Maybe someone will say it's common practice, but I have not seen that anywhere else.
