This is my idea of what constitutes a beautiful turquoise stone.  It's a gorgeous shade of blue, has interesting matrix evenly distributed and as a plus, seems to have a lot of pyrite or "fools gold" incorporated in the stone.  I think that makes it interesting.  A collector will pay a lot for this specimen.

                       my desk.

 

                         Next weekend is the 58th Annual Gem & Mineral

                       show. Each year I usually find a little something

                       for my crystal and mineral collection or a piece

                       of jewelry.
