Re: Chocolate diamonds - trash or treasure?

I have a buckle style ring from HSN that is Technibond with absolute clear and chocolate stones. You would not beleive the compliments I get, and everyone thinks it is from LeVian.

Re: Chocolate diamonds - trash or treasure?

My thought when I first heard them advertised is that they're just poor quality diamonds. But them I saw some! The good ones have a nice clarity and are lovely. Of course, like any diamond, white or colored, some are included and awful. It's all in the hands of the designer, and as always, quality.

There is a huge difference between cloudy, ugly diamonds and chocolate diamonds. But, as with all diamonds, you need to know the 4 Cs when buying.

I have some absolutely gorgeous 14k chocolate diamond earrings that shine and sparkle like crazy...and are a perfect shade of chocolate. I also have a ring with chocolate diamonds around the primary stone. Stunning!

I like them. I wouldn't want a whole collection of them, but do think they can be quite pretty. I caved on the OTO ring, so will decide if it's a keeper when it arrives.

I don't like them or black spinel either. I flip the station when they come on.
