Charm Bracelet---Were the problems ever fixed?

Had the charm bracelet---broke the first time I wore it, the bracelet broke and all the charms scattered. The kids I teach (alternative dropout prevention program), picked half of them up---and they were long gone. I swore, I would not order another one.

But I am so wanting to order one---I love the charms---and they just don't feel the same on my pandora bracelet. Were the problems ever addressed and fixed?
