Carved Gemstone Charms

Has anyone been able to determine whether the Turq charm in the AD is smooth or carved. I could care less about the butterfly charm and am considering cancelling that shipment and getting the carved turq.. I am wondering why they would have 2 versions of this charm. Anyone who ordered the AD would not buy the Turq. carved bead. Seems strange to me but then this whole bracelet has been somewhat strange.
