Re: Carolyn Pollack has outdone herself!

@patbz , I remember those link necklaces from the CP line, around $100+, which was expensive back then.  I didn't buy them because I scored a couple of sterling toggle link necklaces that were similar in looks from a QVC outlet store for $48  each.  This was back in 2008, J00443 (get a load of that low item number), 18" chain with a 10 ct. gemstone enhancer, chain without the enhancer weighs 50 grams.  I was really sad when that outlet store closed.

I was amazed at the sale prices for the new sterling link necklaces.  Today they're now priced at $474 for 32 grams and $587 for 40 grams.   Carolyn said they are solid, and they better be for those astronomical prices.  No way I'm paying those prices for a sterling chain that isn't even 50 grams and, frankly, 50 grams isn't very heavy feeling around the neck, either.  The prices are crazy town.

An estimated 700,000 people around the world, 400,000 of them children, have died so far due to the discontinuation of the USAID program.

I'm curious about the two heavy looking chains that are on " special" today for $300+ and $400 +. One is around 30 g and looks like the one from long ago ( 16 yrs, $100 and 110 g); are these new chains hollow or plated????

Thanks for mentioning this @patbz . I thought the chains were attractive but the gram weight seemed low so I assumed they were hollow.

Re: Carolyn Pollack has outdone herself!

I ordered this necklace, I'm sure I'll get a lot of wear from it. Sadly I'm on waitlist, hope it comes in. I got it in the 18 inch.

@qvcfreak - I hope you get it and love it! It is a beautiful necklace. Today, I am wearing my three-strand oval CP turquoise necklace. There is something about wearing that much natural turquoise with matrix around one's neck that is very satisfying.
