I thought that this was the best California Gold Rush on QVC in many years. The gold choices were classic and substantial. It was so exciting to see gold prices go down. I pray that this is a trend! I have sold most of my trendy silver pieces and I would like to have more traditional and classic pieces that are forever pieces.

I was really enjoying the shows and while cooking my husband saw me ogling the 16 inch graduated byzantine and he said "Buy it, you deserve it." I was floored. I have been out of work and feeling like I can't buy anything and he said I want you to have this. I ordered it, but it is on advanced sale. It is the first time I have ever used easy pay. He also liked the rhodolite garnet byzantine ring and told me to get that too. I am a really lucky woman to have such a kind hearted husband.

I hope you enjoy your purchases. I know my credit card needs to be hidden from myself because I did some major damage last night after work. Thankfully, a couple pieces are advance order and thankfully (and I mean that) I can try to get some overtime on my job to help pay it off, but it will be worth it. I LOVED THE SHOW! It was awesome to see gold come back and hope it is here to stay.

I have enjoyed the day, even though I am not in the market for any gold. It has been fun and I have enjoyed seeing so many pretty pieces. I think they have done a very good job today. Beautiful pieces and good entertainment. I don't think there is any reason to be so nasty. I mean, it's just a shopping channel doing a gold day. Can't imagine what goes on if someone brings up politics.

I felt exactly the same way.....what fun. Glad some of us enjoyed it

Dperry, what a nice DH you have. Enjoy your gold

I did not watch much yesterday. Do you think QVC made a lot of money.

Re: California Gold Rush ...

Gold dropped 30% in 2013 and has been DOWN FOR MOS but QVCs prices have NOT! With today's prices, there isn't any reason for the "resin" filled pieces, except to camoflouge the weight of gold that you are actually purchasing. And the bronzo prices are way too high and creeping higher with every new item introduced. Even the Q's silver pieces, including JR, are totally overpriced based on the silver market. The Gold Rush was a scam, in my opinion...
