The last pair of hoops I purchased were from ShopHQ in yellow gold. They may have some white.

Chickenbutt, thanks for the suggestions. I don't know whether I get ValueVision but will check.

LexPex, ValueVision became ShopNBC which became ShopHQ.

Impish - you said it all --

The Rolo necklace and bracelet I bought from the Q about 12 years ago is hollow - it looks beautiful and wears the same way - quite a bold look - the gram weight is very close to what they are selling today -- I am happy to see so many affordable pieces - agree - you will never find solid gold on any shopping channel - but for most of us the gold they are showing today - is wonderful --

Re: California Gold Rush ...

QVCs gold prices are ridiculously high for light weight junk. I've seen really heavy high gram weight 14kt gold bracelets on EBAY for under $35 a gram. Even high end retailers have better prices than QVC. Mary Beth was cackling about how heavy a bracelet was, she just kept going on and on about what a substantial piece it was - it weighed 12 grams...lol.

I have enjoyed the day, even though I am not in the market for any gold. It has been fun and I have enjoyed seeing so many pretty pieces. I think they have done a very good job today. Beautiful pieces and good entertainment. I don't think there is any reason to be so nasty. I mean, it's just a shopping channel doing a gold day. Can't imagine what goes on if someone brings up politics.

Re: California Gold Rush ...

During one of those all day jewelry events (I think it was just Gem Day), I purchased the 14k Sleeping Beauty flower ring for a One Only price. It's stunning!! I was so very, very, very surprised. I thought for sure I'd hate it. It would be too big or light weight. I'm telling you it's absolutely gorgeous. I couldn't be happier.

To match that ring I went and purchased J289301. I hope I have the same results!

I am really enjoying the programming for a change!! Love this day. Not purchasing anything, just enjoy listening and watching. So far all may favorite hosts have been on, I can even take Rick when he sells jewelry, LOL!! I'm home all day doing wash, changing and washing bedding, making macaroni salad, doing bills, etc., one of those days, and have it on in the background, something I haven't done with QVC in a long time.

From what I've seen, I think the pieces and prices are pretty decent. Somewhat the way it used to be.

I want to take a cotton square and wipe off some of that blusher. He looks like Lillian Munster!

Same here Kachina. I watched some of the shows, but saving up again for Michael's big Amy ring. He posted pics of it on Facebook. That ring is gorgeous. It's a dark deep purple color. Posted pics of the matching earrings and pendant also. Looking forward to Feb. 3

The gram weights are laughable... Antonella oohing and ahhing over 5 grams of gold.... calling a bracelet beefy.......PLEASE!

Are you saying that financially you think you could afford a beefy bracelet that's 10 grams of weight? Rich people don't spend their time on a home shopping bulletin board and have alomst 4,000 posts! That is the funniest thing I have read yet! AHAHAHAAH {#emotions_dlg.lol}

Such an ignorant thing to say.

Re: California Gold Rush ...

I thought that this was the best California Gold Rush on QVC in many years. The gold choices were classic and substantial. It was so exciting to see gold prices go down. I pray that this is a trend! I have sold most of my trendy silver pieces and I would like to have more traditional and classic pieces that are forever pieces.

I was really enjoying the shows and while cooking my husband saw me ogling the 16 inch graduated byzantine and he said "Buy it, you deserve it." I was floored. I have been out of work and feeling like I can't buy anything and he said I want you to have this. I ordered it, but it is on advanced sale. It is the first time I have ever used easy pay. He also liked the rhodolite garnet byzantine ring and told me to get that too. I am a really lucky woman to have such a kind hearted husband.
