CUFFS....

I recently purchased the Michael Dawkins petal cuff and have a question. I'm not used to wearing cuffs without the hinge opening. When I wear this cuff the opening is about an inch and a half. Is that too much? It's in no danger of falling off and it doesn't move around, it's just that my Ripka cuffs with the hinge have a much smaller opening. I guess that's the nature of the cuffs without the hinge so that you can get them on and off. I tried to look at some Q videos with this kind of cuff but they don't show the underside.

Can anyone either show me a pic or tell me how wide their opening is?
