I've restrung beaded bracelets and necklaces that broke. It's easier than you think. Like others, I watched Youtube tutorials to learn how to do it. You can buy supplies on etsy.

Re: Beaded Bracelet

@I am still oxox   If you have a Michael's near you, the nylon cord, jewelry pliers and the tiny end cap (piece of metal to pinch the ends of  cord) are available there.

When you measure the new cord around your wrist, allow that the beads will shorten that length. For example if your wrist measures 6 1/2"...allow at least 7"-7 1/2" depending on size of beads. Purchase the thickest cord that will fit in the beads for strength.

@Shanus It is an elastic bracelet. No need for a catch, I will simply string the bead, ti it off and seal with nail glue I have made dozens of bead braclets but never remade one

@I am still oxox   OK. The ones I made to sell, I always put a pinch type metal bead that went inside the closest bead. It added to the strength and less chance of breaking.

I am the OP and started the project this morning, my cord was too thick to knot tightly. Ordered some thinner from Amazon and will retry it at the end of the week.

Thanks for all the helpful answers

OP back again, I came up with the brilliant idea to find a needle that I could thread the through. Amazon to the rescue I just remade the first one gone to let my eyes rest and conquer the second one tomorrow

Replying to my own post one of them broke the other day when I was brushing my teeth. Scattered all over so it is history I am still wearing the other one
