I recently sold a size 7 JR ring on ebay w/ free shipping- buyer said ring is beautiful but fits like 5 1/2 or 6. (I have over 400+ on ebay). She's also requesting that I refund her shipping to return it LOL... I have the original QVC receipt to prove it's a size 7, plus pictures of it on my size 7 finger (so not a Q mess up for once). I do state no refunds for any reason unless grossly misrepresented in my auction which it clearly is not. I know I'm in the right & I explained to an actual helpful ebay rep who said If I could provide the receipt to prove it's the size described they would uphold any case brought against me. To save aggrevation, I am tempted to just refund the money but she also wants me to pay her to ship it back to me. HELLLLO??? Not even big box companies do that..I'd almost be more sympathetic if just said she didn't like it although that's no reason to back out of a deal. When you buy something sight unseen it's always a risk. I have bought many things on ebay that I didn't like or didn't fit right & just ate it or resold it. What would you do? She seemed very adamant & demanding which kinda makes me want to stand up for myself. I also have a feeling no matter what I do for her she'll leave nasty feedback...Any suggestions?
