It is a beautiful ring. There were NOT 17,000. It was sold on another internet sale site for $60 in the last few months. Same ring. Interesting. Also, it is not okay the the Q did this. They knew it would not last. Again, the 17,000 number is incorrect.

May I know what website you're talking about?

To answer OP's question, I got it to wear on my ring finger (and hope I didn't need to size up).

As to some of the other questions raised, I also heard them say 17,000 were brought in and I don't see any reason why that wouldn't be believed. I don't think Barbara has ever brought in huge quantities (and she commented on how she won't compromise the quality of the stones and it is often hard to get those in large quantities). Because they sold out quickly? Barbara used to frequently sell her jewelry out quickly in the past and with this price being so reasonable in comparison to a lot of designer jewelry out there, it shouldn't be a surprise that many people jumped on it, both Bixby lovers and newbies looking for a reasonable price point to try a piece.

I also think some people bought multiples so it's very possible that returns will come back based on people picking the one they like best and returning the others, so hopefully, waitlist orders may get filled.

To Ruby Woo----the site was Rue La La, before Christmas. To sometimesQVCaddict-wasn't suggesting a "conspiracy theory" as you determined I was. Just going by what I was hearing from Antonella and the numbers she reported. And, I was merely commenting that the ring was sold for that price-which is interesting information about how things are priced on all sites in retail because they are all making $ no matter the price. You are the one who interpretted my comment as negative.

I actually mistook your post as a negative comment as well. I was posting on the bixby chat topic live during the show and was posting numbers as Antonella gave them. At one point I believe she said they sold 13,000 rings in 11 minutes (or something like that) and had brought in 17,000 TSV rings total.

I received the early TSV info in an email and decided not to get it, then watched it come on last night and HAD to buy the Iolite. Glad I did and bought my regular size for my middle finger. It's gorgeous and I wanted all three as well (but didn't) so I can understand all the multiples sold. It was an exciting 15 minutes, that's for sure....

You know people are amazing and can never be satisfied. If the BB TSV had been $200 people complain if is $99 people complain. I think it was a great deal, a great price and I purchased all 3 colors. I believe 17K was sold because the price was great, why are you now happy. It also opened the door for every designer to have "their own YSV" during the day. By the way, BB has not been on Rue La La since 2012 after the Honor Pearl separation.

Kjae, RueLaLa has not sold Bixby for over a year, they did get a large bunch of it back when Barbara and Honora Pearls severed their partnership and Honora clearanced it's inventory through RLL. The rings sold today on QVC are a new production run of the original ring, collectors have been asking for it to come back since it originally sold out in garnet. It was only ever intended to be made in garnet, as it was a memorial piece Barbara made when she lost her beloved dog Jezebel, and garnets, representing loving and giving, epitomized the relationship for Barbara. Because so many people asked, Barbara asked QVC if she could bring the ring back, and the decision was made to increase the stone choices and make it a TSV. There is no connection between QVC and RLL, and QVC did not send Bixby inventory to RLL, Honora did that on it's own, so I don't know why you are hinting at something underhanded and shady going on.
