That might be the problem. They are extremely protective of her image. Also, I read that Audrey Hepburn NEVER wore jewelry in her personal life, except for two small rings. One from her son and the other from her boyfriend.
Her sons have licensed her image depending on the project. I would have thought they would have had to be involved for this to get off the ground. Maybe they decided at the last minute to pull the plug on the idea. No doubt part of the proceeds would have gone to her Children's Fund...
It does seem odd they would have gone so far to have put it on the QVC schedule if it was not ready to be aired.....

If she didn't wear jewelry, what on earth are they going to sell? Or is it like the Presidents' Wives line they had, where everything was "inspired by" rather than a copy of an actual item worn by one of the first ladies?

Audrey was a stylish lady but she seldom wore jewelry even in movies. It seems like an odd choice for a jewelry line.

Wrong - my 20 something niece is obsessed with her. They sell Audrey items everywhere - posters, bedroom décor, etc. Not every young person lives in a vacuum. I doubt that the items I see are being purchased by 70 year olds. I kind of think 70 year olds have outgrown posters.

The Hollywood Collection used to have a couple of pieces that she wore in movies. I have copies of the earrings she wore in ""Roman Holiday"". When I heard they were selling her stuff here I wondered if it would be her personal collection (which was the impression I got from the Insider IIRC) or other pieces she wore in her movies. I guess we'll never know.

I wonder about that as well. I saw a couple of the Hollywood Collection pieces that were mentioned by the above poster.
I've always loved Audrey Hepburn! My teenage thinks she is very pretty. Nether of us are 70. Yet...

Audrey is a timeless icon much like Marilyn or James Dean, except not in a tragic way. My niece who is thirtysomething now has loved Audrey since she was a teenager. There are current books in the stores about Audrey's style, so I think she still appeals to a wide audience.
