Anyone watch Lux Jewelry Network?

I just started watching it.  It's an offshoot of American Jewelry Network. (which I think not sure is no longer around)  Only one host Libby Floyd who looks somewhat familiar.  Not sure where.  I rank this just above TVON.  They have more then rings. Bracelets and necklaces, earrings, etc. Price wise they are the same.  Still not as good as Gem Shopping Network for color in gem stones.   Sorry but  outstanding Pariaba and Tanzanite are just not around for under $2,000.00. Only on 2 days a week.  Sauturday and Tuesday.  Nice sapphire/rubies (only Burma rubies are offered) Mostly 14K, no silver and only a few 18K.  Diamonds are SI  Interesting site for gems with diamonds.  They had a special this whole week for good gems/diamonds under $1,000.00.

Re: Anyone watch Lux Jewelry Network?

@songbird  So THAT's where Libby Floyd went!  These show hosts are like bouncing balls.  She's been on several shopping channels, but the one that stands out to me is Evine (I think it was ShopNBC when she was there).  I did always like her calm and mature way of presenting items.

I wasn't aware of this new channel.  I doubt I'd be purchasing, as I have more jewelry now than China has rice, so I don't need to be spending bug bucks on any more.  I wonder if it's carried on my AT&T U-Verse.

I don't think so.  The networks that carry it are Verizon, Dish Network, Frontier and a couple of others. It's also online, but I don't know if you can get to watch it if your carrier does not have the show.   I might be wrong but I think Floyd owns this network.  As she is just there 2 days a week.  This outfit just started.  They are attractive jems, but I haven't registered yet. Floyd is familiar as I've seen her on different networks in the past. Very good host and is comfortable in front of the camera.

Outfits like this and TVON are bucking the trend that Gem Shopping and jewelry stores offer.  What they offer for $10,000.00 and up, the other two off under $3,000.00.  The lowest Gem shopping will go for stuff with diamonds and in Platinum or 18K is $4,000.00.  Sometims Gem shopping will offer "throwaways" items (not so nice gems set in gold for under $1,000.00.  Lots of them now because of shopping for holidays.)

Re: Anyone watch Lux Jewelry Network?

@songbird  Sometimes I watch Gem TV for a little entertainment (kind of like window shopping at an expensive mall).  There's no way I would ever purchase from them, though.  I do have a lot of jewelry purchased 15-25 years ago that might be worth those kinds of prices now, even if I only paid a few hundred for them then.

It's addictive, isn't it?  Love it though.  I've purchased a few things.  Nothing over $2,500.00 though.  But I've seen people snap up $10,000.00 and up items.  Plenty of celebrities shop there, so I've heard.  What I've gotten are solitaire gems surrounded by diamonds, (I dislike clusters of small gems) and are precious (a few sapphires and ruby).   My best ruby is a transparent Burma Ruby surrounded in near colorless baguettes.  It came with GIA certificate.   In February they have their "Red Carpet" events.  I once saw a 10 carat Kashmir sapphire for 3 million.  All of those items start at 6 figures.
